A Christmas Poem I

Oh man how can you blithely pass
This great “remembrance day”?
When God Himself became a man
The greatest price to pay!

Your sin, oh man, did merit this
A spotless sacrifice
That on the very “Lamb of God”
Shoudl rest your evil vice!

Come kneel and worship Him anew
The God who died for thee
A babe, the cross, the risen Christ
The One who sets us free!
