She’s Older Now
She’s older now
The red cheeked blushing maiden
She’s older now
The red cheeked blushing maiden
Has slighter grown
and frailer is her frame
She does no bounce
Her step is slow
She hardly knows her name
Those jet black locks are
Snow white now
Her face with wrinkles strewn
It seems the cares of many years
the lines have finely hewn
But-as she hobbles ‘Heavenward’
with slow but steady pace
The glow of glory beams on her
She sees her Savior’s face.
