Dr Corrie Ten Boom Audio Sermons

Corrie Ten Boom’s honest and touching testimony of what happened her family and herself personally during Nazi Occupation, have been the means of countless souls seeking God, reconciliation and the breaking down barriers. Corrie ten Boom and her family and 30 others who were in the house at that time for a prayer meeting had been captured by the Nazis and sent to the infamous Ravensbrück concentration camp. It is detailed in ‘The Hiding Place’, Corrie ten Boom’s story of what happened and the events that followed. Their capture was due to their harbouring Jews fleeing from the Nazis and helping them to escape, a carefully planned and executed underground resistance movement. The price they eventually paid, was to be captured themselves. Corrie, and her older sister Betty’s, bravery in the concentration camps they were held in, the Bible Studies they secretly held until Betsy’s death and Corrie’s consequent ministry are a miracle of God’s doing. The two sisters had a joint vision that if they were ever released, they would take a message of Hope, Christ’s sustaining presence and His reality in the most horrific circumstances, to the world outside. Corrie was released 12 days after Betsy’s death and returned to the Netherlands. A rehabilitation centre was started by Corrie for concentration centre survivors and later for any who needed help. She travelled the world sharing her story of forgiveness and God’s redeeming love. When in Germany she was confronted by an exceptionally cruel guard who had been converted to Christianity. She candidly told audiences that only God could have given her the ability to forgive him for what Betsy had suffered at his hands, and to greet him as fellow-believer. Corrie’s talks riveted audiences across the world reaching countless lives. Her life story has been captured on screen and been a powerful tool to reach the unchurched. Her humour, honesty and testimony of the Hand of God taking her through unbelievable suffering, sorrow, torture will continue to reach lives.
