Judgment Had Fallen

Judgment had fallen upon sinful man;
God’s word had warned them again and again:

Judgment had fallen upon sinful man;
God’s word had warned them again and again:
How can they argue with sin at the door,
Seek God, Repent, the old prophets implore.

Judgment had fallen, but men would not heed,
Sin they would cling to, determined proceed.
While they lament what it brings in the it’s wake,
They will not turn and it’s follies forsake.

Judgment will fall if I trifle with sin,
God is not mocked, I cannot bargain with Him.
Let me repent, e’er God’s wrath on me fall,
I will surrender, I give up my all.
