Martin Holdt Audio Sermons

Martin Holdt was a revered evangelical reformed preacher in South Africa. Martin was converted as a young man of 19 years. He attended the Baptist Theological College in Johannesburg. After graduating, he was posted at a small church with 16 members, situated in Polokwane (Pietersburg). Under his ministry the church grew. Because of this, he was described as a planter of churches. After ministry in Tzaneen, Phalaborwa, New castle and East London, he was called to plant a church in Constantia Park Pretoria. He remained here until retirement in 2011. One of the outstanding factors that contributed to his ministry was his discipline in retiring at 9 pm and rising at 3 am to have uninterrupted time spent in Bible reading, prayer and preparation of messages. The fact that he placed emphasis on physical fitness, equipped him to maintain this regime. He ran the famous Comrades Marathon in 2 hours and 50 minutes. Martin Holdt had a deep burden for the Afrikaans people of South Africa and most of his messages were in Afrikaans.
