No Room

Man, you resist God, His calling,
Stilling His voice every day;

Man, you resist God, His calling,
Stilling His voice every day;
Suppressing, hardening your conscience,
Heedlessly going your way.

Fainter the sight of His mercy,
Farther His grace doth recede,
Dimmer the sense of your frailty,
Deadened the sense of your need.

Until your life’s thread is ended,
Time passed to be never more,
And the word ‘while’ gains momentum,
As closed to you, heaven’s door.

No room on earth for your Saviour,
No room for His gentle voice,
No room to turn back , O Sinner,
No room has sealed your own choice

No Room
