WE STRUGGLE TO KNOW THE TRUTH. - Chapel Chat

     One of the purposes for which Christ came to earth was to bear  witness to the truth.  Mankind is born with a natural ability to seek wickedness and evil rather than the truth. Satan and his demons  work on this latent desire and continue to lead men to follow him in his deception and lies. Mankind is relatively easily led because of  their arrogance, pride and self-will.  

    The following scripture shows how Satan is seeking to keep man- kind from believing the truth. 2Thessalonisans 2:9-12. “The coming  of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all  power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception  among those who perish, because theydid not receive the love of  the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this reason God will  send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that  they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had  pleasure in unrighteousness.”

    God has the antidote for our sin-sickness/unbelief. The Godhead planned from the beginning to call all mankind to consider the truth  of the sacrifice God was willing to make for the offense of their sin and  separation. Those who would repent and accept Christ’s blood  sacrifice for them would inherit eternal life. Those who reject the  offer are already condemned because “they have not believed in the name of the Son of God.” John 3:18. Consider God’s free offer today.
