WHAT DOES IT TAKE? - Chapel Chat

     What does it take to have you believe that you are a condemned sinner and that Christ came to save you from eternal separation??
     What does it take to have you believe that the things of this world are as nothing compared to the glory of heaven that is offered to you?
     What does it take to have you change your mind from unbelief to believing the truth of the word of God??
      A blind man in John 9 had to make that journey from unbelief and condemnation to belief and eternal life.  Jesus put clay on his eyes and told him to go and wash in the pool of Siloam. He went, washed and
received his sight, but he did see or know the man that told him to do this. When they asked him who it was that opened his eyes he replied,  “A man called Jesus.”  Later when questioned, he said, “This man is a
prophet.” His answer to others was, “He must be a man from God.” Do you see the upward progress of his answers?
     The Pharisees cast the former blind man out of their presence, but Jesus had compassion on him and sought and found him. Jesus said to him, “Do you believe in the Son of God?”  He answered, “Who is he Lord that I may believe in Him?” Jesus answered, “You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you.”  The blind man declared, “Lord I believe!” And he fell down and worshipped Him.
      The Father is seeking you today and has revealed Himself through His Son, Jesus Christ. Open your eyes to see and believe that Christ is the offering for your sin today. Enjoy the blessing of life in heaven.
