You don’t know just when - Martha Petrusevich

You don’t know just when, your last minute will be,
But are you ready, to face the Lord and Eternity?
The time when you will die, to you, is quite unknown
Are you ready to stand before His almighty throne?

You don’t know exactly, when that time will be
It might be in a plane that had just been flying free,
Soaring through snowy clouds in the deep blue sky
Yet suddenly comes crashing down from the lofty high.

It might be in train that is heading down the tracks,
Yet suddenly derails, and goes flying off those tracks.
Your life could end with out warning, in a single flash,
In a sudden accident, such as a vehicle wreck or crash.

It might in a sudden war and battle, just like in Ukraine,
That brought so many people sorrow, misery and pain.
It might be in an earthquake that comes upon the land,
That no one ever had expected, or even ever planned.

It might be in a tsunami, that comes rolling from the sea,
That no one had predicted and couldn’t control or see
Or it might be a sudden, furious and ragging hurricane
That no one from humanity can possibly hinder or refrain.

It might be in a raging fire that sweeps across the land
That no one can slow down or its strength withstand.
It might come from a sickness of the human type and kind
That you had never quite expected, or had kept in mind.

Death, so often comes without a warning or a sign,
It might come at eighty-three or at an early twenty-nine.
You don’t know exactly, when it will come for you,
Death never gives anyone a suggestion, tip, or clue.

So be always ready to meet the Lord at any time of day,
Serve your Lord whole-heartedly, and not just halfway.
Always keep your heart free from all sin and wrong,
For the Lord’s second coming may not take so long!!!
