You Spurned My Love

When My arms said, ”Come to Me,”
You merely crossed your own.
My love lay shattered at your feet,
Your heart as hard as stone.

You did not grasp My proffered love.
You spurned My sacrifice.
You chose to turn and walk away,
Embraced a life of vice.

But one day at the judgment throne
My book shall opened be.
Then sorrowfully you’ll recognise
You have no part in Me.

You let My love fall to the ground.
You spurned it ‘neath your feet.
Thus you’re condemned and sent to hell
Before the judgment seat.
