“A TRUE STORY
At the age of 16 I had my first beer. By the age of 18 I was a town drunk in Crystal Falls, Michigan.
From the age of 18 to the age of 38 I drank heavily, during which time I spent a small fortune on a product that caused me three car accidents — one of which should have killed me.
I had two friends that went to early graves because of alcohol. I cannot tell you how many times I had my head in the toilet bowl, so sick, wanting to die, vomiting up what I just paid for the night before.
On May 29, 1968 I fell 28 feet and broke both legs. I also smashed my ankle bones where doctors said I would never walk again.
June 23, 1973 I was asked to go to a Bible believing church, where Jesus Christ became Lord of my life.
In September of 1973 He set me free from alcohol just as if I had never drank before. It has been 38 years now without a desire to drink alcohol.
In October of 1973 the Lord took away the braces to allow me to walk without them. I have been walking ever since. In 1974, the Lord called me into the ministry as a pastor and an evangelist, retiring in mid-2011.
Now, I speak to you with all sincerity. You who do not know where you will end up at death … You with a drinking problem … I have an answer for you: His Name is Jesus Christ.

“1st John says, ‘He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.’
Simply put, when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you receive the gift of eternal life and a home in Heaven, where there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain.
Reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and at death you will face the lake which burns with fire and brimstone. Revelation 21:15 — Anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire, or HELL.
What must I do to gain Heaven and miss Hell? Be honest with Jesus, tell Him you’re a sinner in need of a Savior, then go to Him with this prayer:
‘Lord Jesus, I now confess to You all the wrong and sinful things that I have done in my life. I ask that You please forgive me and wash away all of my sins by the blood that You have personally shed for me on the cross. I am now ready to accept you as my personal Lord and Savior. I now ask that You come into my life and live with me for all eternity.’
‘Father, Jesus — I now believe that I am truly saved and born again.’
‘Thank You, Father. Thank You, Jesus.’
