Jesus Is God

The God who has made both heaven and earth

Has come as a man of lowliest birth.

Our sins He forgives; our wounds He will heal,

For Jesus is God, and Jesus is real!

I know of a place without any night;

(No need of the sun; the Lamb is the light;)

Without any pain that we’d ever feel,

For Jesus is God, and Jesus is real!

My Master will come to judge and to bless;

The tongues that had mocked will have to confess,

And then every knee to Jesus will kneel,

For Jesus is God, and Jesus is real!

The only true Saviour, Jesus by name,

The first and the last, for ever the same,

He wounds you in love, and then He will heal;

This Jesus is God! This Jesus is real!
