Unto the Pure

Unto the pure, all things are pure?
It seems to be untrue,
For in a world of sin and wrong
Things gain an impure hue.

But to pure who shun the wrong
And flee from sin and vice,
Who keep their garments spotless, white
This statement doeth suffice.

Their eyes are fixed upon a home
Which is not of the earth.
They covet not the transient wealth
Of no eternal worth.

They do not isolate themselves
Apart they walk within.
Upon the dusty roads Christ walked
They keep themselves from sin.
